Rearcross U15’s fell to a heavy defeat to Limerick kingpins Aisling Annacotty in this National Cup game played on an All Weather Pitch at the Annacotty venue. Rearcross faced an uphill battle from the start against a high profile host side which had too much strength in depth. Rearcross battled gallantly early on but there was always only going to be one outcome after the home side led three nil at the midway stage. Aisling Annacotty dominated affairs in the second period and ran out comprehensive winners. The goal scorers on the day were Caimin Ayres and Paul Brennan who netted a hat-trick apiece, Sean O’Shea chipped in with a brace while Joey Ryan, Jake Dillon and James Lane were also on the mark for the winners
